According to Famitsu/Enterbrain, the game has sold 1,516,532 copies on its launch week (as of December 20th). Furthermore, Final Fantasy XIII helped boost hardware sales as 245,406 Playstation 3 systems were sold in Japan last week.
Final Fantasy XIII will be released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 9, 2010. |
